Who you are dealing with
wctoindia.com is run by HexxGen Digital, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. In this page, "we" and "us" mean that. "You" means whoever is reading the site.
What this site is
It is travel information, researched and dated. Every figure on it is traced to the body that published it and carries the date we last checked it. How that works is on the about page.
It is not professional advice, and it is not a guarantee about anything you will find on the ground. We are writers who check things carefully, not an authority on roads, weather or safety.
Plan with the source, not with us. Roads close, fares are revised, permits change and orders get withdrawn, often at short notice and often without any announcement in English. We name our sources on every page so you can go and check them yourself before you travel. Please do.
Using the site
Read it, quote a line or two with a link back, send pages to friends, print them for a trip. All fine, and that is what it is for.
What is not fine:
- Republishing a page, or a substantial part of one, anywhere else.
- Using our photographs, on any site, in any deck, or in any listing, without asking us.
- Scraping the site in bulk, whether to rebuild it somewhere else or to feed it into a product.
- Anything that breaks the site or gets in the way of other people reading it.

What belongs to whom
The words, the photographs, the maps and the code on this site are ours, except where a page names somebody else. Where we quote a government notice, a news report or an operator, that material belongs to whoever published it and we name them.
The India map on this site marks where our guides are. It is an illustration of our coverage and is not an authoritative depiction of any national or state boundary.
Links to other sites
We link out constantly, because naming a source is the whole method. Those sites are not ours. We do not control what they publish, what they charge, whether they stay up, or what they do with your data once you are on them.
Money
Nobody pays us for coverage. There are no sponsored posts, no paid links and no paid mentions on this site. The full position, including what happens if we ever add affiliate links, is on the disclaimer page.
Where our responsibility ends
We put real work into getting this right and we correct it when we are wrong. Even so, we cannot promise that every figure here is current at the moment you read it, and we are not liable for loss, cost or disappointment that follows from relying on the site instead of checking with the authority that issued the rule.
Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.
If something goes wrong between us
Write to us first. Most things are a correction, and corrections are quick. If it comes to more than that, Indian law applies and the courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, have jurisdiction.
Changes to this page
We may change these terms. When we do, the date at the top moves. Continuing to use the site after that means the changed terms apply to you.
